Being a Witness

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

Part of the life application of having Authentic, Abundant life is finding out who you are in Christ. Who Christ wants you to be and live the life he intended for you.  You can go from job to job, or career to career looking for that calling that makes your life complete or you can simply look to Jesus for that void. The life he wants for you is simple..... 

A life with him.... 

However that looks, in whatever career, job, city, town you are in , he wants you to make him Lord of your Life. 

If you are his and you are striving to live for him with all your might, then you will strive to be a witness for him, a light on a hill. 
We were not created to live in some bubble, self centered and inward, we were created for him, through him and because of him. We were created to Worship him and in doing that you will bless others, being a "witness for him" !!! 

At Reliance we are doing a study on what it looks like to be a witness for Christ.  

The plan is to continue to work here in our  Jerusalem, right around home here.  Continuing our 3-2-1 challenge of bless three people, invite two people and pray with one person. We continue our homeless ministry and also we have ministered to the Ronald McDonald house. Also we are working on doing something for a local halfway house as well.  

We are also planning on helping a church in Tampa and friends and family that are missionaries overseas. 

When we look beyond ourselves, God blesses abundantly ! 

Though Reliance Church is working hard for God, God is working even harder for us. We thank Him for blessing us, for sending people of peace into our lives, for providing all things we need. We serve an amazing God and we are thankful to be His !!
