God is working.........

Wow, God has really been working the last few days !!! I know it's been a while since my last post, but I will share just a little of what God has done. Reliance Church plant team went to St Pete this past weekend, yes, a long way for the weekend, but God has really blessed. We actually had church from the top of a parking garage there where Danny gave us a message of trusting in God(something we all needed)!!! We also prayed up there for the city and for the people we will be ministering to. On that note,  we met some awesome people there. Just a confirmation that God has a great work for us there !! There is a work to be done, and a lot of hurting hearts that are searching for something. 
   After our trip there we have had some development of a possible benefit/fundraiser coming up so you will be seeing more to come with that !!! God is Good !!!!!!
   On Monday we met as a team for our Acts Bible study and studied the end of chapter 7 and part of chapter 8. It was awesome to hear about Stephen and his devotion to God, then Simon's salvation. They were on mission, though times got uncomfortable and trying,  God in the end prevailed !!!! 
  I wanted to share one more thing from my devotion this morning.... 

"Service is the overflow of superabounding devotion; but, profoundly speaking, there is no call to that, it is my own little actual bit and is the echo of my identification with the nature of God. Service is the natural part of my life."(Oswald Chambers)
 God does call us into a relationship with him, then out of the sheer love for HIM we do things for his Kingdom, to further his Kingdom and to show his love to others. 
"But when is pleased God.......
to reveal His Son in me......" Gal 1:15-16
