Who exactly is the Church?

You are

If you are a believer and claim to know Jesus Christ, you are the Church. So whether or not you want to be considered "religious"or maybe you are too cool for it and just want to be a Christ follower- you are still "the Church".  Maybe you are not part of Reliance, but if you are a believer then this message is for you. If you are not part of Reliance we would love for you to be- either in support or prayer, or your presence in our life would be awesome !

What do you think of when you hear "Stake your Claim"? Do you think of history and how people used to claim land and take up residence or maybe you think about gold and once someone found the gold, they would stake their claim.... Well I am here today to tell you to stake your claim in God.

What does that mean?
Well, for one it means he loved you from the beginning. He loved you and has loved you at your worst.
If you are a believer you have been adopted into His Church and it's time to stake your claim because He has already claimed you. (Ephesians 1:4-6)
1. God chose us
2. This claim in Him is for God's glory
3. It is secured in Christ
4. We are adopted to represent him.

How do you stake your claim? If you are a believer then live for him- read his word, pray, go to church and worship him, fellowship with other Christians and watch your life change for the better as you stake your claim in HIM.
If you are not a believer and you are reading this, and you want all of this and to be a part of all this, then ask Him into your heart right now.

2 Corinthians 6:16-18
16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
