Thankful

   As I was sitting in my living room last night and it was full of people on Thanksgiving eve. I was reminded of Christ's love for me. I was reminded of his promises and the importance of friends and family and fellowship. 

    I was thankful of Christ's love and how he created us to desire companionship and relationships.  He created us with an innate desire for acceptance and contact with others, but most of all he created us with an inner desire for something more and that something is a relationship with him.  If you are wondering why you don't feel complete or whole and you may even feel void, that is a feeling of a need for him. If you have professed him and claimed salvation and you still feel void. You have a desire to be in fellowship with him.  He created you for him and a relationship with him. 

"And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."(Gen 1:27)

"In his own image" stands out to me and speaks to me, why, because relationship, not that we are equal by any means, but we can have a relationship with the father.
